Dan Dung's Brick Dedication

It was a perfect evening. Just prior to 1800 on October eighteenth, a light drizzle blessed Atterbury Circle as everyone gathered for the dedication of Dan Dung’s brick. Dan’s widow, Cheryl and daughter Kara; Dan’s brother, DJ; Dan’s sister and her family; and friend Kevin Higa, joined FOH and the 15th Wing Family as we paid tribute to Dan. Mahalo to Col Joe Dague, for his support in presenting the certificate to Cheryl on behalf of the Air Force. His words of Dan’s contribution to the Friends of Hickam and the Hickam Ohana were appreciated. Mahalo to Father Joe Deichert for opening and closing the ceremony with words of Aloha and support to all who gathered. Dan’s brick is located in close proximity to the Friends of Hickam Brick – Right front walkway near the curb.
