Baseball Clinic
December 2010 To all FOH Clinic Baseball volunteers:
On behalf of the Friends of Hickam Board of Directors,
Mahalo for giving of your time this past Saturday to the First Annual FOH
Baseball Clinic. Our members were not up close and personal but on the
sidelines working on registration, the H2O line and "Mess"
tent. Their help through out the morning was invaluable. Kudos to Lance for bringing his great idea to
"LIFE!" If it were not for his creative mind and many resources, we would never have
attempted the Clinic. Thank you's go out to:
Bruce for taking the reins on this project. And Quan for always stepping to bat with the pizzas! There were over 100 participants who enjoyed the
organized morning training camp. It was
amazing to watch the kids go through all the different stations working on their baseball skills. Pitching, batting, catching and fielding - what a busy morning! I got tired just watching those kids. Special thanks really go out to Coach Rich Olsen and the
Pacific Region Baseball League Coaches and Players. Without them, this event would not have been possible.
They volunteered their time to run this Clinic and gave from their hearts for these kids. Check the link below and see what is written in the Wing
news.
